Queens Boulevard is an independent film that starred Vincent Chase and was directed by Billy Walsh. Ethan Suplee, Zooey Deschanel and Robert Duvall also star. It was produced by Scott Wick. The movie was shot in Vince's native Queens borough in New York. The film is presumably about a man running from the law in Queens. The movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival where it got rave reviews.
Because of Vince's performance in QB, James Cameron hired him to play Aquaman in the superhero movie he was directing. After the box office success of Aquaman, Queens Boulevard is picked up for national release in order to capitalize on Vince's newfound stardom. However, Vince and Billy were displeased with the neon re-colorization of the film (it was originally shot in black and white) and thus blocked the film's national release. It would later be released on DVD.
