"Entourage" is a film that has been green lit be Warner Bros. studios and is being written and directed by Entourage series creator, director, and producer, Doug Ellin. Executive Producer Mark Wahlberg announced the film was currently in development in September 2011, and when asked about the job offer that Ari Gold received, he hinted that "The dream job he got offered is too good to pass up." However, script details are mostly being kept under wraps.

The film is meant to extend the television series, and is currently in the script writing process and is slated for release sometime in April or May, 2014, according to Mark Wahlberg. Currently, both Jeremy Piven and Kevin Dillon, who portray Ari Gold and Johnny 'Drama' Chase, are signed on for the upcoming film and negotiations are underway with the other cast members.
